The USA Lacrosse Magazine released its’ 2023 Division II Men’s Lacrosse Preseason All-American honors on January 17th, 2023. Michael Flores of the Saint Leo men’s lacrosse program was listed as an honorable mention by USA Lacrosse Magazine.

Flores will enter his junior campaign this season. Last year, he was named to the Sunshine State Conference’s Comissioner Honor Roll. Flores started and played in 14 games during the 2022 season earning five points (4 goals, 1 assist). He led the Green & Gold in groundballs with 162. The junior from Apopka, Florida led the Sunshine State Conference in groundballs per game with 11.53 and ranked 5th in faceoff percentage at .553.

Flores is joined by four Sunshine State Conference members to receive honorable mentions in Canyon Birch (Tampa), Sean Nolan (Florida Southern), Mikey Berkman (Rollins), and Dan Fitzpatrick (Tampa).
