Hernando County School District recently issued the following announcement.
This SUMMER PROGRAM is for students who will be attending Kindergarten in August, but who have NOT ATTENDED or used their VPK certificate during the 2021-2022 school
year. Registration for this summer VPK will be taken April 8-May 20. For more information, please contact the VPK office at 352-797-7000 EXT 238.

FAST results are in, and 41.5% of Hernando County students were proficient in Geometry in the 2023-24 school year, according to the Florida Department of Education.
