Gus Bilirakis, U.S. Congressman representing Florida’s 12th district since 2007, shared updates on his recent engagements with constituents and local businesses in a series of posts on August 25, 2025.
In a post from August 25, Bilirakis described a community event: “Another great Coffee with Your Congressman Listening Session—this time with residents of Crystal River Village. Bilirakis has represented Florida’s 12th District since succeeding Michael Bilirakis in 2007 and previously served in the Florida House of Representatives from 1998 to 2006. Born in Gainesville in 1963 and currently residing in Palm Harbor, he holds degrees from the University of Florida and Stetson University.
