Later that day, he highlighted the passage of housing legislation in the House: “The Affordable HOMES Act passed the House this week. In a subsequent post on January 9, Bilirakis addressed infrastructure funding: “As part of the three appropriations bills passed by the House this week, I was proud to secure more than $14.6 million in federal grant funding for critical infrastructure projects in our community. These investments reflect my commitment to delivering results for our district https://t.co/oRTOomMBIQ”.
Bilirakis has represented Florida’s 12th District in Congress since replacing Michael Bilirakis in 2007 and previously served in the Florida House of Representatives from 1998 to 2006.
