On August 4, Bilirakis posted about a local event: “Last Friday, I was pleased to host a Coffee with Your Congressman Listening Session in Central Pasco. I’m grateful to the local residents who joined to hear updates on my work in Washington and to share their thoughts on the issues that matter most to them.”

Bilirakis has represented Florida’s 12th District in Congress since succeeding Michael Bilirakis in 2007. Prior to his tenure in Congress, he served in the Florida House of Representatives from 1998 until 2006. Born in Gainesville, Florida in 1963, he currently resides in Palm Harbor. Bilirakis earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Florida in 1986 and later received a JD from Stetson University.
