HERNANDO/CITRUS
METROPOLITAN PLANNING ORGANIZATION

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Hernando/Citrus Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) will conduct a public meeting on Thursday, September 1,  2022, beginning at 1:30 p.m., at Brooksville City Hall, Joseph E. Johnston, Council Chambers, 201 Howell Avenue, Brooksville FL 34601

Items scheduled on the agenda include, but are not limited to:

  • FDOT – Strategic Intermodal System (SIS) 2050 Long Range Cost Feasible Plan
  • Scope of Services Approval to Kimley Horn and Associates for 2050 Long Range Transportation Plan
  • Request For a Letter of Support from the MPO for Hernando County Grant Application

All meetings are open to the public.  Any questions concerning this public meeting should be directed to Mr. Bob Esposito, MPO Executive Director, Hernando/Citrus MPO, 1661 Blaise Drive, Brooksville, FL 34601, telephone (352) 754-4082, or email mpo@hernandocounty.us. The meeting agenda will be available approximately one week prior to the meeting at: www.hernandocitrusmpo.us.

If a person decides to appeal any quasi-judicial decision made by the Hernando/Citrus MPO Board with regard to any matter considered at such meeting or hearing, said person will need a record of the proceeding, and that, for such purpose, said person may need to ensure that a verbatim of the proceeding is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based, 286.0105, F.S.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Hernando/Citrus Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) will hold a public workshop to discuss the role of the MPO in Plan and Program Development including but not limited: list of priority projects, funding sources, safety, expediting construction projects and specific projects in the MPO area.

The workshop will be held on Thursday, September 1,  2022, beginning at 2:00 p.m., at Brooksville City Hall, Joseph E Johnston Council Chambers, 201 Howell Avenue, Brooksville FL 34601.
