Welcome to the new academic year. This past year, our AFC at Santa Fe College chapter provided professional development opportunities and legislative updates; awarded scholarships for continuing education; participated in various community service and fundraising activities; hosted the AFC Region II Spring Conference; and received multiple exemplary awards, including Professor of the Year. You can view our Outstanding Chapter of the Year Award Submission for a complete summary.

We hope to do even better this upcoming year, planning more social activities now that we can meet on campus. For starters, we cordially invite you to join us Friday, Sept. 2, at 1 p.m. in Building S, Room 326 to socialize and learn more about our ACB Excel Program from Jen Homard and Tom Mason and Continuing Education from Trenton Hightower and Lisa Anderson. Light refreshments will be served, and all are welcome, with a special drawing for AFC members bringing a prospective member. You can join us on Zoom if you cannot attend in person.
