Cost of college went up for all students at ATA Career Education

Tuition and fees rose 2.6 percent for 2018-19 at ATA Career Education, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Florida students paid $12,959 to attend the two-year private for-profit institution this year – $334 more than the $12,625 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 100 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 29 students received grants or scholarships totaling $181,420 and 31 students took out student loans totaling more than $333,284.

Including all undergraduates (265), 233 students used grants or scholarships totaling $1.4 million, and 238 students took out $2.5 million in federal student loans.
