Hernando County issued the following announcement on Sept. 29.
A ceremony will be held on Friday, October 15, 2021 at 9 a.m. to break ground on the new Hernando County Fire and Emergency Services Station #6, located at 3451 Shoal Line
Blvd. in Hernando Beach. The ceremony will be streamed live on the Hernando County Government Facebook page.
A special timeframe will be set for media to conduct interviews, take photos, etc. from 8 to 9 a.m. Media are encouraged to RSVP ahead of this event to the Office of Public
Information at either (352) 540-6426 or PublicInformation@HernandoCounty.us by Friday, October 8, 2021.
