The Hernando County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed the social media threat of school violence circulating in Hernando County originated in Missouri.
The individuals involved in making the original threat involving Missouri schools have been arrested in Missouri.

Central High School Families
Law enforcement and school administration are investigating the credibility of a social media post that claims students intend to bring guns to campus and shoot administrators and others.
In addition to determining the credibility of the post, law enforcement is also investigating the source of the post as there are many schools named "Central High" and because there is information in the post that does not match our school.
There will be additional law enforcement on our campus Monday as a precaution.
