County of Hernando issued the following announcement on Nov. 1.
The Hernando County Parks and Recreation Department is seeking participants for its annual Christmas Cards on the Lawn display scheduled for November 19 through December
30, 2021 at Hernando Park, located at 205 E. Fort Dade Avenue in Brooksville.
Specific rules apply for setup and display. Spots are at a cost of $25 per card. Advance registration is required as spots are limited. Applications are available online at
www.HernandoCounty.us/Parks. The deadline to register is November 19, 2021.
Participants must provide either a 4x8 plywood card with two braces to be anchored with rebar or something to keep the board secure to the ground, or a corrugated plastic card
that is able to be mounted and secured.
