Saint Leo University Hosts Tampa Business Leader For Free, Public Event On Mission-Driven Leadership

Saint Leo University recently issued the following announcement.

Alumnus Nick DeMarinis, vice president of sales at WeWork and a former LinkedIn executive will, discuss leading with compassion and serving others.

Saint Leo University is continuing to elevate the dialogue around mission-driven leadership by welcoming the public to a free event featuring Nick DeMarinis, vice president of sales 

at WeWork and a former LinkedIn executive. The Mission-Driven Leaders: Conversations on Purpose program will take place from 9:30 to 11 a.m., Tuesday, March 29, in Saint Leo 

University’s Greenfelder-Denlinger Boardrooms and online via Zoom.

DeMarinis, who is a Saint Leo University alumnus, has been with WeWork, a commercial real estate company, providing flexible workspaces, for three years. Prior to becoming the 

vice present of sales, he held a position as director of enterprise accounts based in New York City. DeMarinis started his career in tech sales at Yahoo and then spent eight years 

with LinkedIn in various leadership roles across both North America and Asia Pacific.

The Mission-Driven Leaders: Conversations on Purpose program will feature an interactive, interview-style conversation with DeMarinis, who will share his experience in leading 

with compassion and serving others. The event will coincide with Saint Leo University’s Business Week, which offers a variety of events and activities to help prepare students 

for business careers. During DeMarinis’ visit, students also will have the opportunity to engage in small group conversations with him to obtain career advice and gain insights into 

the business world.

Registration is required to attend the event at Saint Leo University (33701 State Road 52, St. Leo, FL 33574) or via Zoom at saintleo.edu/mdl.

COVID-19 protocols: Masks will be required by all individuals while indoors. This guidance is required regardless of whether the individual is vaccinated.
