The College of Central Florida sophomore infielder Edrick Felix had a great week at the plate for the Patriots.
The Florida Gulf Coast commit batted .500 (9-for-18) with five runs scored, three doubles, three home runs and nine RBI.
He hit safely in all four games, leading the Patriots to a 3-1 week. Three of them were multi-hit games, including a 2-for-6, two-homer, five-RBI game vs. St. Johns River State.
He then closed the week going 4-for-4 with a home run and three RBI vs. Seminole State. This is now the third time a Patriot hitter has earned player of the week honors.
