Of the 802 student-athletes that will compete at the 70th Annual NAIA Men's Outdoor Track & Field National Championships, six Tigers will represent EWU at this year's event. Jourdan Bell will be the lone Tiger to compete in an individual event, taking part in the Men's 400m Hurdles. He will then join Jamal Bouie, Kody Gibbs, J'Von Keene, Jaquan McCants, and Andrew Powers as part of the Men 4x100m Relay.
An All-GCAC selection, Bell earned his spot in Gulf Shores by posting a top 25 time nationally in the Men's 400m hurdles. His 54.08 effort at the Alice Coachman Invitational hosted by Albany State on April 9th, earned him his third trip to the National Championships.
The Men's 4x100m relay team returns to the NAIA's for the first time since 2017. This year's squad achieved the NAIA "B" standard time of 41.65 in their final meet of the season at the Edward Waters/Albany State dual meet on May 5th.
The three day National Championship will take play May 25th-27th at Mickey Miller Blackwell Stadium in Gulf Shores, Alabama.
