The College of Central Florida’s Patriot Project will recognize Hispanic Heritage Month with a screening of “Latin History for Morons” on Wednesday, Oct. 12, 12:30-1:30 p.m. in Building 8, Room 110, at the CF Ocala Campus, 3001 S.W. College Road, Ocala.
In this one-man Broadway show, John Leguizamo finds humor and heartbreak as he traces 3,000 years of Latin history in an effort to help his bullied son. The performance, which earned him a 2018 Tony Award, has been called “a genuinely brilliant piece of popular, political theater” and is a must-see for students, educators and the community.
The Patriot Project lectures are free and open to the public. Light refreshments and event giveaways will be provided.
