Top leaders recognized! — Hernando County School District

At its meeting on Tuesday, the Hernando County School Board honored 2023 Principal of the Year Rosemarie Maiorini and 2023 Assistant Principal of the Year Alexandra Rastatter.

Maiorini is the principal at Challenger K8, and has been described as “deeply family-oriented, a passionate advocate for kids and teachers, and someone who creates a positive school culture.” Rastatter, the AP at Powell Middle School, is “reliable, resourceful and respected by the entire staff.” 

Congratulations! We are proud to have you both representing Hernando County!
