Nine Lions were recognized by the Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) for their work in the classroom during the 2021-2022 season. Olivia Buthorn, Piper Daniels, Franki Dorfman, Lia Lamendola, Emily Lampasone, Gigi Moll, Melissa Reeves, Marisa Souchak, and Sierra Yoder were honored among the 517 student-athletes from 68 Division II Institutions. In order to be eligible for the prestigious honor, student-athletes were required to be either a junior, senior, or graduate student who earned a cumulative academic GPA of 3.50 or greater.

This is the second year Souchak and Buthorn have been recognized by the IWLCA. Buthorn graduated in May with a degree in Health Care Administration.
