TheBus Adds New Stop on Purple Route

Bus Stop Added in South Brooksville on Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd. 

The Hernando County Board of County Commissioners in conjunction with the Brooksville City Council and TheBus have created a new stop to TheBus’s Purple Route. Starting April 3, 2023, this stop will be located on the North side of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd. just East of the South Brooksville Community Center near the corner of Muhammad Ali Way and Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd. 

TheBus will depart from the bus stop located at City Hall, in Downtown Brooksville, at 5:25am and it will make two stops on Main Street before arriving to the newly added location.There is a 1-hour headway from the first time of departure.

TheBus provides public transportation to the urbanized area of Hernando County (Spring Hilland Brooksville) through fixed-route and complimentary Americans with Disability Act (ADA)service.
